Frequently Asked Questions

How do Volunteers get in contact with my organisation?

If a volunteer shows interest in an advertised position, they have the opportunity to complete a basic application form at the bottom of each position which will be transferred to organisations who self-mange there website entries online. For organisations that don't self-mange their website entries online the volunteer's details will be passed on via telephone or email.

Does Gladstone Region Volunteering ‘screen’ volunteers for suitability before referral?

Gladstone Region Volunteering provides a referral pathway for volunteers only, and does not perform any screening processes before contact is made. This is why it is important that you meet with the volunteer before accepting them, in order to ascertain their suitability for the position.
