Purpose/Mission Statement: Tondoon Botanic Gardens are part of a conservation strategy to ensure that the nation's environmental heritage is passed on to future generations.

Services Provided: Gladstone Tondoon Botanic Gardens is a regional botanic gardens maintaining a scientific collection from two main areas, that of the Port Curtis Region and Far North Queensland. The Gardens were officially opened in October 1988 and extensive development has continued since the opening, incorporating more than 1,500 species in cultivation.
