Learner Driving Mentor - Braking the Cycle Program

Position Description: Braking the Cycle will match you with a young person who faces barriers to obtaining a drivers license. As a mentor you will use PCYC's BTC vehicles and assist the young person to gain valuable driving experience prior to sitting their test.
Position Location: Gladstone
Required Skills / Experience: Volunteer Mentors must be eligible to hold/obtain the following. The PCYC will assist the volunteer with the application process. • Working with children blue card • Restricted Driving authority from Department of Transport • Valid Queensland Open Driving License

Services Provided: The Gladstone PCYC has been operating since 1977 and provides services to the local and surrounding communities of Gladstone Boyne Island, Tannum Sands, Calliope and Benaraby in Central Queensland. The branch currently has an excess of 2500 members ranging from 2 to 70 years of age who participate in the broad range of activities on offer including fitness, youth and community programs. Our organisation anticipates continued growth and aims to be proactive in developing and maintaining our service to the community
