Position Description: Do you like meeting new people, being involved in activities and have an interest in local plants? Tondoon Botanic Gardens is looking for volunteers who would like to help out with school visits, school holiday activities and guided walks.
Position Location: Gladstone
Required Skills / Experience: Good public relations skills, an interest in plants and the environment, an eagerness to learn guiding skills.
Gained Skills / Experience: Training towards becoming a confident tour guide and assistant for programs and events in the Botanic Gardens

Services Provided: Gladstone Tondoon Botanic Gardens is a regional botanic gardens maintaining a scientific collection from two main areas, that of the Port Curtis Region and Far North Queensland. The Gardens were officially opened in October 1988 and extensive development has continued since the opening, incorporating more than 1,500 species in cultivation.
