Adult Scout Leader (Membership)

Position Description: Leaders and helpers in various sections (Joey Scouts, Club Scout, Scout and Venturers) to actively participate in a team environment in the training and development of youth members by programming, running section meetings, camps and activities. Undertake the relevant training and attend meetings and forums as necessary. Undertake specialist skill training as you require (canoeing, hiking, abseiling, rock climbing, campfire leader plus many more).

Position Location: Gladstone

Required Skills / Experience: Training is provided by the Scout Association. Previous Scout experience would be an advantage. Experience with working with youth would also be an advantage.

Gained Skills / Experience: Working in a team environment, working with youth, specialist skills (Abseiling, canoeing, rock climbing, hiking, camping etc.), attend Jamborees, Diploma of Leadership, Certificate IV Leadership, Certificate III Leadership Support, Certificate II Leadership Support.
