Website Designer Assistant

IT & Web Design

Position Description: GMAI is looking for a Website Designer Assistant Volunteer to design and develop a website and associated technologies (including domain name registration etc.) for the Gladstone Multicultural Association Inc. GMAI would like to have an online presence including, but not limited to; a website, Facebook page, Twitter page etc. with the ability to have these technologies all integrated. The Society envisages that an online presence will further promote the Gladstone Multicultural Association Inc and the events and services offered through GMAI in general. You will be required update our website, design updates, newsletters, and creating surveys.

Position Location: Gladstone

Required Skills / Experience: Intermediate/Advanced skills working with web hosting, website templates, Microsoft Office (including Word and Publisher) and general computer functions or the desire to 'have a go'

Gained Skills / Experience: Practical experience in web design and recognition of creating a website for a not-for-profit community organisation.
